The Excursion Group(formerly Museum Group) takes full advantage of all the wonderful events that exist in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area by visiting and exploring a different place every month.  In addition to museums, this group tours many other venues such as the new Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, bus trip to Ennis Texas to see the Bluebonnets, walking tour of the Dallas Arts District, Grapevine Old Town and Delaney vineyard and much more.

The members of this SIG find that visiting the various locations with fellow CWC members is not only a great way to spend more time with other members, but it allows them to visit places that they might not otherwise have the opportunity to.

The SIG has its members volunteer to host a particular month, which means they choose the museum or venue and coordinates all the pertinent information and details. They are then responsible for sending out an email with the information to the Excursion Group SIG members.
